Seniors
Quinlin Gallagher
is a senior at Arroyo Grande High School and has been performing ever since her first-grade production of El Medio Pollito, where she stole the show as Narrator #4. With AGHS, Quinlin has played Emma Nolan, The Prom, and Miss Honey, Matila, to name a few. In her free time sje enjoys listening to Taylor Swift, playing video games, and playing the guitar. Quinlin would like to thank Mr. Blauvelt for his dedication to creating a safe environment for his students.
Dylan Long
is a senior at AGHS and has been apart of the theatre company for the past two years. His favorite show with the school is The Prom where he played Tom Hawkins. Dylan is thrilled to finish his last year of AGHS Theatre. Outside of theater, he enjoys making music, as well as spending time with friends. Dylan would like to thank his friends for helping him grow.
Hannah Hay
is a: senior at AGHS, hoot, teller of bad jokes, jolly ol’ fella, traffic cone enthusiast, law abiding citizen. She has played The Trunchbull in Matilda, Antonio in Twelfth Night, Drunk/Prostitute in Anastasia, and stage managed Pride and Prejudice, The Prom, and Silent Sky here at AGHS Theatre Company. Outside of theatre she has some intriuging hobbies! For example Hannah hits things with sticks (more specificially known as drums), whittling wood, and playing cribbage. She wants to thank her grandmother, Madalyn, for being an inspiration to be her authentic self.
Dahlia Ridenhour
is a senior here at Arroyo Grande HS. She has played Sir Andrew Aguecheek in Twelfth Night, Peter Quince in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and is looking forward to playing Chief Weasel in Wind in the Willows. Dahlia enjoys roller skating, climbing trees, and sitting on the floor in the very little free time she has to spare. She would like to thank her mom for driving her to theatre everday/letting her borrow the car and supporting her interest in the arts.
Juniors
Izzi Arave
is a junior here at Arroyo Grande High School, and joined the AGHS Theatre department her freshman year. Some of her favorite roles throughout her years include Titania in A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Mrs. Phelps in Matilda. Other than theatre, some of Izzi’s hobbies include drawing, playing guitar, and jewelry making. She also enjoys watching her favorite movies/shows, and YouTube. She would like to thank her friends and family for encouraging her to coninue theatre.
Mia Beck
is a junior here at AGHS. Some roles she has played are Mrs. Wormwood in Matilda, Mike in White Christmas, and she has stage managed a few shows here at AGHS. Mia likes to read, sew, do hair and makeup, and hang out with friends outside of theatre. She would like to thank her mom and gramma for always being there to support her and her wild ideas/dreams. And she would like to thank her Stricky Wicket for always being there for her.
Zoe Smith
is a junior here at AGHS, where she has performed in their productions of A Midsummer Night’s Dream as Robin Starveling and The PROM and Anastasia as ensemble. She has also performed with TGAM in A Christmas Carol as Martha Cratchit. This year, Zoe will be ensemble in AGHS’ Wind in the Willows as well as one of the choreographers and the costumer. Outside of theater, she enjoyes dance, reading, and ceramics. Zoe would like to thank her vocal coach for the help and enouragement she provides.
Charlotte West
is a junior at Arroyo Grande HS. She has been in the ensemble for Matilda, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Prom, and was Mrs. Who in A Wrinkle in Time for AGHS’s Theatre Company. When she’s not in theatre, Charlotte likes to stay at home with her two lovely cats, or hang out with friends. She would like to thank her parents for driving her around, and all of her friends for being there for her.
Joy Avant
is a junior here at Arroyo Grande HS. Some of her most recent roles at AGHS were Fabia in Twelfth Night, Emily in Finding a Chord, Tatiana Rominov in Anastasia, Elizabeth Bennet in Pride and Prejudice, Lavender in Matilda, and Hermia in A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Outside of theater, Joy enjoys reading and spending time with loved ones. Joy would like to thank her friends and family for always supporting and believing her.
Evan Stephens
is a junior at Arroyo Grande High School. She has been a part of the theatre company for three years and has played roles such as Swallow in Wind in the Willows and Maria Romanoff in Anastasia, both with the AGHS Theatre Company. In her free time, Evan enjoys working at Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt and hanging out with her boyfriend. She would like to thank her family and friends for all their support and Quinlin for writing this.
Mila Guiliano
is a junior here at Arroyo Grande HS. Last year her favorite role was Amanda in Matilda, But she was also Lady Catherine in Pride and Prejudice but she prefers her ensemble roles. Outside of theater Mila enjoys cooking, and listening to music. Mila would also like to thank her parents for getting her to do theater, she would also like to thank her friends for supporting her and helping her in theater, and she would like to thank everyone in tech.
London Raftery
is a junior here at AGHS. On campus, she has played Alyssa in The Prom, Puck in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Matilda in Matilda, Ensemble/Anya US in Anastasia, and so many more. She has also played Mary Lennox in The Secret Garden (PCPA), Jane Banks in Mary Poppins (SLOREP), and Esther Jane in A Christmas Story (SLOREP), along with many others. Outside of theatre, London enjoys teaching theatre to younger students. London thanks her friends and family for getting her to where she is today.
Justus Bates
is a junior at AGHS and is glad to be back for another year of theatre. His favorite roles have been Mr. Wormwood in Matilda and Trent Oliver in The Prom. In his spare time he likes to play basketball and spend time with his loved ones. Hw would like to thank everyone in lighting and sound for all their work behind the scenes, all of our cast for being so talented, the stage managers for making sure everything runs well, and our directors and coaches for helping us expand our talent.
Kaveh Naficy
is a junior here at Arroyo Grande High School. In the past, he has played roles such as Mr. Bennet in Pride and Prejudice, Rudolpho in Matilda, and Theseus in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, all with the AGHS Theatre Company. Before high school, Kaveh performed with DPAC and CYT. In his free time, he enjoys playing chess and then playing more chess. Kaveh would like to thank Quinlin for writing this bio for him and also chess.
Olivia McDonald
is currently a junior at AGHS. This semester you can see them in Hello! Dolly as Dolly Levi. Some roles she’s played here are Williamina (Silent Sky) and Dee Dee Allen (The Prom). Olivia spent her youth performing with Coastal Youth Theatre. Olivia’s free time consists of traveling, baking, hanging out with friends, and listening to music. They would like to thank her Ama and Papa. She wouldn’t love theatre as much as she does without their influence and will forever be grateful.
Percy McPherson
is a junior here at AG High. He has been in Pride and Prejudice as Servant #2, Matilda as a stage manager, A Midsummer Night’s Dream as Philostrate, and is currently in Comedy of Errors as the First Merchant, all with AGHS Theatre Company. Outside of theatre, Percy likes to watch movies, listen to music, and sometimes even write scripts. He would like to thank all his theatre friends for making him always feel welcome to the company and his family for supporting him!
Sophia Robertson
is a junior here at Arroyo Grande High School. This is her first semester in Arroyo Grande’s Theatre Company, but she has played Luisa in The Sound of Music with PCPA and Annie in Annie, Sandy in Grease, The Artful Dodger in Oliver and Willy Wonka in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory with SOPA. Sophia enjoys playing basketball and tennis and hanging out with her friends and family. She would like to thank her mom and dad for their unconditional love and support.
Sophomores
Levi Rock
is a sophomore at the AGHS Theatre company, and his second year of doing theater ever. He has enjoyed playing roles such as Mr. Collins from Pride and Prejudice, Francis Flute from A Midsummer Night’s Dream, ensemble in The Prom, and performing multiple Characters in last year’s New Play Festival. Outside of theater Levi rides his Onewheel, enjoys video games, and spending time with his new found friends at the theatre company. Levi would like to thank his family for their undying support.
Jonathan Bevan
is a sophomore here at Arroyo Grande High School.
Auri Oliphant
is a sophomore here at Arroyo Grande High Schoo. Auri has previously worked behind the scenes as the stage manager for A Midsummer Night’s Dream & The assistant stage manager for The Prom here at AGHS. She is very excited to take the stage and show off her acting skills this year while still doing the technical side of theater. Auri enjoys reading and spending time with friends outside of theater. Auri would like to thank her Dad for everything he has done for her.
Nicholas Monge
(Nico) is a sophomore at Arroyo Grande High School. He has played Abu in Aladdin Jr. with Coastal Youth Theater Company, Lysander in A Midsummer Night’s Dream wiht AGHS Theater CO., Charles Wallace in A Wrinkle in Time with AGHS Theater Co., and Barry Glickman in The Prom with AGHS Theater Co. Outside of theater Nico enjoys baking dancing, and hanging out with his friends. He would like to thank his family an his friends London and Olivia for always supporting him.
Carly Gallagher
is a sophomore at AGHS. Some roles she has played in the past are Meg in Little Women, Rizzo in Grease and Ms. Green in The Prom. Outside of theater, she enjoys playing and writing music. Carly also plays soccer. She would like to thank all her friends who she forces to run lines with her at lunch time and her family for always supporting her.
Jonah Belch
is a sophomore at Arroyo Grande High School. His recent roles include ensemble in the production of The Prom, and ensemble in Matilda at AGHS. He likes to play video games and launch model rockets. ANd he would like to thank his best friend Levi for being a great friend through High School.
Penelope Headrick
is a sophomore here at Arroyo Grande High School. She joined theatre this semester and is excited to play Rachel Lynde in Anne of Green Gables during An Evening of One Acts, and Luce in The Comedy of Errors. In her free time, Penelope loves to skateboard and play guitar. She gives thanks to Carly G. and Auri O. for introducing theater to her and a special thanks to Auri for directing Anne of Green Gables.
Freshmen
Donovan West
is a freshman at New Tech High School, and is in AGHS Theater company. He recently played the role of Horace the dinosaur in Bedtime’s Stories as Told by Our Dad Who Messed Them Up by Paulding Middle School’s drama program. Outside of theatre Donovan enjoys cooking, being with friends, and watchin movies. He would like to thank his friends and family for supporting him with theatre and school.
Sawyer Sipes
is a freshman at Arroyo Grande High School. He has never been in a performance before and is super excited to be a part of the AGHS Theater Program. Outside of school, he likes to play piano and hangout with friends. He would like to thank his family, and friends, and the people reading this.
Anika Messineo
is a freshman at Arroyo Grande HS. This is the first year she is a part of a play, and acting on stage. Anika enjoys art and being active, like doing gymnastics and weekly workouts in her garage. She would really like to thank Quinlin, another AGHS Theatre member. Quinlin helped Anika get involved in theatre and she was very kind to introduce Anika to the group. There aren’t many words to describe how thankful she is for Quinlin’s help in getting her theatre journey started.
Ryn Britton
is a freshman at Arroyo Grande High School. She has never been in any theatre programs before and it’s her first year being a part of a play and acting on stage. She is really excited to joing to the AGHS’s theatre program. Outside of school and theatre, she enjoys hanging out with friends, singing, and reading. She would like to thank her friends and family for supporting her through everything.
